"Rosies" are the women who entered the workforce to keep the American economy running during World War II. They deserve the Congressional Gold Medal, our highest civilian honor.
They paved the way not only to help win a war but to change our life, change society so that women were more accepted in the workplace.

Millions of women answered the call.
"Men came home to parades, we came home to pink slips."
That's what Mae Krier said about her service on the home front during World War II.
We have the chance to honor them with the Congressional Gold Medal by passing S.2500. Sign the petition below to show your support.
